About E.C. Gladstone
Having fun–It’s my job.
With over 15 years of publishing experience, my career has taken me in a number of interesting directions. But one thing has remained a constant–the objective to tell the best story possible, and to entertain readers while doing it. I’ve been fortunate to be featured in dozens of publications to date, covering travel, food, wine, spas, luxury, celebrity, film and music.
“Eric is an excellent and prolific writer with an eye for colorful detail.” –former Orbitz blog editor Thurston Hatcher
In recent years, I’ve become a bit of an expert on all aspects of Las Vegas culture and entertainment, writing a dedicated Las Vegas blog for travel site Orbitz.com, holding a Contributing Editor position at VEGAS Magazine (14 cover stories and many more features ) and publishing frequently in Las Vegas Weekly, Las Vegas Magazine and Las Vegas Home & Design. Prior to all this, I was editor of Robin Leach’s Luxe Life Vegas blog on AOL. I also actively cover local aspects of Los Angeles and the Southwest.
“Eric has proven a real hard working asset during this first ten months of the blog… I personally thank him for all his input , enthusiasm and creative skills in being a special part of getting this Vegas project up and running. He gets my vote of sincere appreciation.” –Robin Leach, AOL Luxe Life
•Over my career, I’ve conducted literally hundreds of interviews with A-list film, TV and music personalities in print, audio and video formats. A select list of people I’ve interviewed
“Eric’s work always demonstrated a passionate, expert-level knowledge of the subject matter and a fluid, engaging, no-nonsense style. Eric goes beyond the call of duty… Great pitches, podcasts, the works. A pro on every level.” — John Srebalus, former editor, Rhino.com
•From 2006-09, as a Contributing Editor, I published a total of 26 Cover Stories for Niche Media Publications’ luxury magazines.
